# Get Skill

Fetch one skill: its rendered body, dependencies and import lines.

A `pattern` skill returns procedural guidance only — there is no file to write, and `sourceCode` is null.

A `chart` / `component` / `store` skill returns TWO different things and the difference decides whether the caller ships a working file:

* `body` — the usage doc. Prose. Do NOT write it to `filePath`.
* `sourceCode` — the component SOURCE. This is what goes in `filePath`.

Use the exact relative `keyImports`; a bare `@vibedasher/skills/...` specifier does NOT exist at runtime and will break the preview.

Ids are resolved leniently (`crossChartHighlight` finds `cross-chart-highlight`), and an org skill id resolves the same way.
