# Update Connection Metadata

Metadata-only update endpoint (name / description).

Defense-in-depth narrow surface — `type` and `config` cannot be reached from this route, even if the caller puts them in the body. Use this for AI dispatch and manual UI rename. Credential / connector-type changes must go through `PUT /v1/connections/{connection_id}`.
