# Delete Refresh

Delete a refresh schedule permanently. Not reversible, and not a pause.

The row IS the schedule, so removing it stops the schedule atomically with nothing left holding a stale rule. It also destroys the id and the row's execution history (`executionCount`, `lastRun`, `lastStatus`) — the only record that the schedule ever ran, or ever failed.

To stop a schedule temporarily, send `{"isActive": false}` to `PUT /v1/refreshes/{refresh_id}` instead. That is reversible and keeps the history.
